Directions:

Take I-94 to the Cretin Avenue exit in Saint Paul. Go south on Cretin until you reach Marshall Avenue. Turn right on Marshall and cross the Mississippi River into Minneapolis. Marshall Avenue becomes Lake Street. Continue on Lake Street until you reach 39th Street. Turn right onto 39th Street and continue 2 1/2 blocks to the park. The shelter should be on your left.

Note: There are quicker ways to get to the park from points inside Minneapolis. Most involve taking Lake Street east to 39th Street and turning left to reach the park.
